What did you think of the game?
We’ve not even started playing this game yet and already we can’t stop smiling. A game that never cease to please? That’s like getting a 72 hour party with 5 of your best friends.
This is a game where you can do as much as you want, do it all at once, or not at all, for as long as you want. When I go into a dungeon, I feel like it’s there to help me complete the final quest, I don’t want to be forced to do stuff; I want to feel like the dungeon is there to help me do what I’ve come to do. I want to play the game for myself, just me and my friends. The game is full of characters that range from cute and charismatic to evil and threatening. What I find is that every single one of these characters adds to the other characters and fills the game with life.
I think the biggest strength of this game is that the characters can easily carry a story. Unlike most games, when one character is being interesting it’s good enough to carry the story, even if I barely interacted with that character, not to mention that there is not only characters you can interact with, there are also friends nearby.
I have had friends come to play with me in person and I’ve had them play in a dungeon together and it is a different experience because each time we see each other it’s a new story. When you watch a movie or read a book there are only so many stories the author can put in there. But here there are a million stories in every map, and most of them are really good.
The experience is not just fun and engaging, it’s also a learning experience. Being in a different world, we’re pretty sure we’ll never find the same world ever again. What we’ve learned about the people and creatures are just amazing.
Honestly, it’s so easy to connect to these creatures, this is probably the first game where the creatures are more like real people. There is an item called a “Power Gem” which increases the strength of you and your weapon/armor, and there is an item called a “Key Stone” which allows you to collect a treasure map and travel to a place where you can collect an item which will allow you to create a bond with another player.
The most amazing thing about all this is that we’ve barely touched the surface of what this game can be.
