Setting a Program for a COM Port
Start by choosing COM Port in the COM Studio preferences.
In the COM Port Setup Dialog box, set a COM Port and Scaling.
If you have an USB/Serial adapter, set the Scaling and check the Automatically Detect COM Port setting.
The parameters should be “COM3:LPT1:e2b”.
Click OK to enter the COM Studio panel.
It appears that the Vcom and VreceiverPort at the AdapterPort are wrong.
If I change the Value of Vcom and VreceiverPort to 921, I am able to see the response.
That is, the value of Vcom and VreceiverPort should be something like 921.
However, I don’t want to change that value as it is the vendor’s specification.
I think it is a version problem.
The comStudio has a bug and that is the Vcom and VreceiverPort are set to 0,921.
I changed the Vcom and VreceiverPort setting from 921 to 0 and 0 to 921,
but the emulator still cannot receive the response.
However, If I change the value of Vcom and VreceiverPort to 921, I am able to see the response.
I think it is a version problem.

What you are describing seems to be a bug in the comStudio software.
That was my find as well.
I’ve been using the comStudio the last week and I always experience this problem.
On Linux, this bug is not found, however.
I am using a mac, but it could be something else.
