Accessing ServiceStack session id from within a resource handler
I’m attempting to make a service that returns a list of icons from the registry to a browser to be used as favicons. At the moment I’m retrieving the session from the session base handler using

and then using a service to return the information I want from the registry…

It would seem to me as though this is a rather performance problem as I need to service call for every single request. However I was wondering if there is a way to access the session from within the handler? The service call is performed from the session ID… so if there is a way to get hold of the session from within the handler that would solve this.
