The Deck

Claire and I had a great weekend! We have been looking forward to spending some quality time with friends and our family.

One thing we look forward to in the months leading up to each of our family vacations is something we call the “deck”. In this case, it’s our deck at our house in California!

We paint the floor and add a bench in the corner so the kids can have their space to play. It’s always interesting to see what attracts their attention. It usually involves some type of sensory play (noise, lights, bubbles, etc.) so we always have to plan ahead a little.
