issues, which are these:

(1) A farce is that the compiler needs to just _repeat_ the work of the
frontend twice, once to compile it to LLVM IR, and once to spit out a SPIR
assembly for the backend and C interface. That’s a huge waste of time.

(2) However, let’s say your “frontend” is a language like C# or Ruby, which
compiles to a “pretty” version of itself. The C# compiler probably needs to
emit something like a small subset of the LLVM IR that the Haskell compiler
would emit. I mean, it doesn’t. C# has special features and a lot of
reflections and other stuff, and you can’t just write everything in LLVM IR.

So then there’s a lot of scaffolding code that should be eliminated, and a lot

This is one of the worst applications I have ever used. There are some great reviews online, and I started the process of installing it. But as I went through the steps, I discovered that it needs to run on a Windows operating system. I am a huge Ubuntu fan and this installation will not work on Linux. It simply will not boot on my MacBook.

This was the first 360 emulator I tried, and it really does a great job. There are many settings to fiddle with, but if you know how to configure it, it shouldn’t be too difficult.
