Chat-Net is a small program that uses the Winsock component and enables you to create a server in order to chat with a friend.
A single server is required to start chatting. Since only one server can exist at any time, only one can chat at any time.
For example, when you have 3 friends online, each of them can chat, and no one else can.
This program was developed using a TCP/IP protocol.

– You have the choice of using a normal server or one that runs in the Background.
– Remote Control Server: This is the server that is running in the background.
The Remote Control Server can be controlled using a remote connection:
– The connection to the remote server can be established over LAN/WAN network, using a standard protocol such as TCP, UDP,
or even over the Internet with an SSH or HTTP connection.
– The remote connection is established using a secured communication channel, in order to reduce the risk of malware attack.
Since there can only be one remote server, a random port number is assigned to the remote server. You can change the port number
of the remote server at anytime using an internal function of the server.
– Request a Chat from the remote server: You can request to talk to the remote server, using a browser, a VB, or even a
script. You can also request to talk to the server from the remote server itself.
– Remote Server Response: This is the command that the remote server sends back to the client, who sent the request.
This can either be a direct message, or a small web page that you can view with a web browser.
– Mute Server: Mutes are the means of un-listening to the server. You can mute the remote server from the remote server
itself, using the same function that you use for unmuting it.
– Prefixing and Suffixing a Chat from the remote server: You can change the beginning and the end of a chat, using the same
function that you used for prefixing and suffixing chats from the remote server.
– Features from the Remote Control Server: This is a function that you can use from the remote server. The remote server
can show you a summary of the local chat, a conversation with a friend, and the ability to see chat logs, etc.
