■ Character Creation
Basic Player Characters
From the start of the game, you will have the option to make a character in the class of the standard Tarnished hero.
Advanced Player Characters
In addition, you can make a “Card Shop Hero,” which is an NPC created by the Card Shop, by selecting “Card Shop Hero” from the Card Shop.
While you cannot build your own character (in other words, can’t have an entire team of characters) as a Card Shop Hero, your team will be able to gain many advanced items and equipment and gain a variety of skills.

Base Stats
Base Stats are primary stats that influence various statistics, such as strength and agility. There are three types of stats: Physical, Magic, and Mental.
Physical Stats
Physical Stats represent the strength of your character, and can be changed by using items.
Base Physical Stats
Your physical stats get slightly improved by using items.
The maximum physical stats you can raise depend on your class, and there is no difference in the maximum physical stats between classes. However, the minimum is different for each class.
Magic Stats
Magic Stats represent the will or intelligence of your character, and can be changed by using items.
Base Magic Stats
Although your Magic stats cannot be raised as high as your Physical stats, they get improved slightly by using items.
Your Magic stats depend on your class, and your Magic stat maximum varies depending on the class.
Mental Stats
Mental Stats are the Intelligence of your character, and can be changed by using items.
Base Mental Stats
As with your Magic stats, your Mental stat maximum depends on the class and your base Mental stat

Lighting is incredible, graphics are simple yet nice to look at. I like the multi camera system, multi-character control, ability to level up your characters as well as tailor your characters preferences and skills. The world is extremely easy to understand and navigate once you learn how everything works. The story is epic and the game doesn’t jump around or overplay the lore of the world you’re in so you can make your own mythology. The combat is basic but it has depth, the AI never really plays you out. You have a wide range of skills that all complement the current game mechanic. Unfortunately there is no lack of dungeons and maps to adventure in but the maps are huge and the dungeons are where you need them the most. At first I was skeptical about the story but there is an option to play a quick travel mode and jump right into the story. Overall it’s an awesome RPG with a lot of content and replayability.

The story is very interesting and it keeps you on your toes. The voice acting is good but the graphics and audio can be painful to hear. A lot of the story is instanced so you are in a room with other people so its not private. The world of the Elden is interesting and dangerous with many problems to solve but the ability to fail is also helpful. The story evolves around your character and makes the game feel dynamic. I wish there was more character development during this story mode.

This game is not social based. It’s more individual character based. You can have up to 4 other players that are direct but there is no interactivity that takes place besides being directly in the same area. There’s no chat system so you have to learn the controls through trial and error and they need some fine tuning. There is a grouping system but it’s not enabled in the main menu and you have to find it with a press of a button. When you are grouped with someone there’s no lock on location and the movement is slow and extremely unnatural. This is the same for all the combat.
