The Good:

A truly fantastic game. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes Fantasy RPGs.

I’m a huge fan of Fantasy role playing games and I had always heard a lot about this game series: “It’s not a hack&slash game, it has skill trees and other things that are actual RPG elements.” Since I love RPG games, I decided to check this game out. And I was not dissapointed!

For RPG fans this game is truly amazing. Everything about the game is done well. The world design, the locations and environments, the battles, the music, the characters and their personalities, everything. It’s awesome. The battles are really well done and you can easily tell that the developers did their homework and that they’re experienced with making RPGs. You never have the feeling that the developers just lifted their stuff from some other RPG and stuck it here. All in all, this game is really fun to play and very well done.

The characters are really interesting. The pacing is good, since you don’t have to go through the same thing over and over again. And the cutscenes that the game features are well done. There are some over the top action sequences, but they’re very well done and they complement the story very well.

The system that the game uses is pretty complex. I would have liked a more intuitive system, but it’s a game for the hardcore role playing gamer and that’s OK.

The game is really well balanced. You don’t have to level up to fight higher enemies. The fighting is tactical and well designed. The enemies actually have skills to use against you. Even though the enemies are very well designed and often have 3 or 4 types of attacks, sometimes they have a specific weakness that will make them easy to kill. The game allows you to equip weapons and magic in a balanced manner and you can freely find enemies with what you use.

The characters themselves. The backgrounds are extremely detailed. The character’s own personal histories are also interesting and gives a lot of insight to the characters. I like how the characters don’t follow the trend that most RPG games follow and doesn’t have the character always take the same path.

The graphics. The graphics in this game are amazing. Everything looks great and the bright colors are amazing. The game has a charming cartoonish look to it. And the design of the locations and dungeons is really well done. The design of
