NIS America have announced that their remake of the Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will be launching on PSN and PS Vita in North America this August.
The game is subtitled Harmony of Despair Remake, though it may as well be subtitled ‘I don’t care what you think.’ The original was pretty crap, so there’s no real reason to believe that this is going to be anything other than a blatant cash grab, but if the previously-released trailer is any indication, it should be at least decent.
The original Castlevania was a fairly poor entry in the Castlevania series.
Now you can pre-order HD remakes of both of the Castlevania Wii U games, Castlevania Order of Ecclesia and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
The Order of Ecclesia was released for PS3 last year, though this year’s version is being released on PC and PS Vita.
The Lords of Shadow game will be released for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U at a later date.
