Definitely possible, but not recommended by most folks. If your existing MySQL setup is under load and unavailable, or, if it’s performing badly, you’d probably make more from moving to a different RDBMS.

The major drawback of PostgreSQL is that you need to be very careful about the administrative work involved in keeping your PostgreSQL database running efficiently and reliably. PostgreSQL is heavy on features and light on structure, making it hard to configure for most users. There is a significant learning curve.

Hey,
I can’t help but rant a bit about this game here.
I remember playing it back when it was still short but I agree that it was much better than the first one.
Nowadays I find it slow and I usually die quite a lot while fighting them.
I agree that it’s pretty laggy but that really bad.
The characters are the same ones from the first game though.
The story is quite fun and engaging.
The graphics are not bad since there isn’t much contrast between the two worlds but it also doesn’t look that great.
Would I recommend it to others?:
No way.
A bit of a gameplay change:
I don’t think it’s that bad.
It might have something to do with the fact that you’re actually weaponless since the majority of the enemies are always four.
If you know your fight patterns then it’s not that bad.
The game is still very good, though.
I would still get the first game though.
The battle system:
I don’t really know what to say about this.
It’s a bit hard to explain.
I like the fact that the enemies always have four.
The way you counter them is also pretty cool.
The problem with it is that you never attack with your main weapon.
So your regular attacks are only made with your magic.
You can also use any weapon in both worlds.
The best weapon to use is the staff but there’s not much difference in your normal attacks.
It’s not the best but it’s fine.
Conclusion:
If it gets updated I would still recommend it but I think they should leave the basic gameplay intact.
The new changes could really make the game better.
Not by any means a bad game.
It’s not that bad but it might be a bit harder than it was before.
The story is really awesome, though.
But the dungeons are not that great either.
