I am a little familiar with these books to base a qualitative response on. I certainly never read Moby Dick, Of Mice and Men, or Catch 22. Yet, this survey compared my opinion of those books to those of the general public without looking into why I never read those books. If I had read Moby Dick, I would most likely have had a different opinion of it. If I had read Of Mice and Men, I would have tended to have a different opinion of it. If I had read I would tend to have a different opinion of it. I think this is a significant point.

This survey leaves out all of the other aspects of the assumed link between vampires and the unexplained/supernatural. If we look at the 10 most popular realities shows on television, for example, we find after a quick glance at each reality show that there are quite a few conspiracy-based shows on network television.
