“Simple Machines” is a simple physics puzzle game where you control small platforms in order to guide a series of colored balls to the end, collecting points along the way. Your objective is to guide all the balls to the exit and to collect the most points possible. This game is meant to be relaxing, the sound track is provided by Lorenzo Wild of Brasil. Bellow you will find all the information about the game:

Game Design:
Simple Machines puts you in a room and you will have to find the way to get all the colored balls to the exit, through the different stages.
At the start of every game you will be given just one ball. You will have to move the platforms according to where the ball is going to be.
Every block you will add has a certain vertical position on the top and the bottom, you will have to place them in the right places in order to make the ball go through.
You will also have to deal with different kinds of balls, they will behave in different ways. Blue, White, Green and Yellow Balls.
Remember that every block you will use will have a specific height and width.
To play the game you will have just one life and you will lose all the points if the ball hits a wall.
If you reach the exit after all the balls you will get the points for the game.
This game was initially designed by Bruno Cinella in 2004 and it took him 6 years to complete the project, it is a great achievement for an indie game.

In order to add more platforms, click on the empty space and drag and drop a new block to the platform

The original prototype was actually based on the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster – which in turn, was based on the Gullwing open-top Mercedes-Benz 300SL. It was BMW’s first convertible produced since the end of World War II and influenced the company’s design of the 718 and 633 Sports Car.

“There was a cult following for convertibles in those days,” says Zook. “They were considered a little crazy but at the same time thrilling and elegant.”

The designer of the car recounts the ever changing, ever evolving prototype during its development through the 1961 SEMA show.

“The car was modern but it also had a lot of flow and space,” says Zook. “The proportions work for mid-size sports cars.”
