What’s new in T3 – Take The Turn:

Bowling is a sport that I’ve longed to learn. (And by longed, I mean I never gave it a good once, but there was always a glimmer of desire going on deep down inside.)

Alex is a native of South Carolina and as such lives and breathes alley cats. (And I’ve also been told I sound like a cat when I talk.)

My husband and I really enjoy crafting – and he’s always been a wonderful bowler! However, I’ve always felt intimidated by this sport and never learned properly (even though I did have a friendly time at the Arkville YMCA when I hit the lanes with him).

I now make a conscious effort to play with my husband at least once a week – and this means that sometimes I get to bowl with him against other players, sometimes we tag on trips together – but most often it will be me against the lane.

While I enjoy the game, I’d never be happy with my scores; Alex, however, kicks butt at it and so I’d rather be at his side whenever they make the long and arduous journey out to the Bill’s Lane.

With summer in full swing and my family in our home for 10 months of the year, I will be making even more frequent trips out to the lanes.

I’ve seen some great Instructables and I’m hoping to weave a similar bow back into my life.
