Karate – New Game

NEWGAME is a 1 to 4 player party/fighting game developed by Neopets and published by Funtown. It first appeared in the Funtown online game under the name “karate” in November 1997 for the programming language Ruby and the character set CP937. There are 3 different modes : Solo Play, Duel mode and multiplayer.
In solo play, you play against a single opponent. You can win a game by knocking your opponent to the ground, grabbing their shell, or by hitting them with a strong attack. The options in difficulty level allows you to set the gravity of your opponent. The Duel mode lets you play against your friends over the internet. In multiplayer mode you play against a number of randomly chosen players.

Smash Cut is a fun and intuitive puzzle game that merges the card genre with the block breaker genre. Each card has two sides with a unique image on it and when all the cards are in the correct order they automatically cut the board apart. In the Block Breaker mode two blocks can be placed in a wall. Swimmer Rebekah Allen Made Pageant History

In the past, a lot of times, gymnasts have gone to the Miss USA Pageant. When I was growing up, the gymnasts would usually go on to win. And today, she did not go on to win. She did, however, make history. Rebekah Allen has made the Top 15 and won her first title of any kind. She is one of the few that have been able to do that. She is the first gymnast that has made the Top 15 at Miss USA that has not made the finals. She can’t say that she has won. She can say that she has made history.

However, the title does not mean a lot to her. “I’m kind of glad this pageant is over,” she said. “I can get back to normal life and not have to wear this little crown around my neck.”

Her time in the water was not as impressive as her gymnastics. With over 60 minutes to compete, she only had 23:25. It was better than last year, but not much better. “I felt much stronger today,” she said. “I wasn’t quite as tired as last year. I still wish I did better, but I did what I could.”

Her swimsuit was a yellow one-piece. She didn’t win any hardware. But she did win the title for herself, and that is more than many can say. She also won the title for women that came before her. �

I originally wrote this article for my own site. I thought I’d cross-post on and on the interwebs as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

“Your whole body is a wad of melted butter. It’s good!” I remember my grandfather telling me that one morning when I was young, and I’d been in the bathroom for a long time after a night of drinking and partying. I just don’t look like a butterball. More like an orange in a yellow sweater. I’m not overweight, but I do walk around the house a bit “propped up” but I don’t drink much and don’t care to have much. I eat pretty healthy, but I do care a bit about that.

My grandfather was the biggest meat-eater my grandmother had ever met. So much so that he couldn’t eat at his own mother’s funeral. But I did notice one thing when I was a kid, he was a pretty skinny old chap. He could eat 3 or 4 hen’s eggs, 2 huge deep-fried hotdogs and a huge plate of fried chicken for dinner, and only throw up once, I’ve never seen him throw up. He’d break out in a sweat after, but nothing like throwing up.

He’d drink several Lattes a day and he could hardly walk anymore by the time he was in his 60’s.

Back when I was in my early 20’s he developed some intestinal problems. He had a hemorrhoidectomy. And he looked like he’d been strangled by some giant boa. My uncle decided he should see the doctor about his intestinal problem.

He didn’t even mention eating or drinking, he just mentioned he had pain in his lower left abdomen and some sort of “nightmare”.

The doctor decided it wasn’t a recurrence of the hemorrhoid problem, and there was nothing he could do. So he sent him home.

Well the same night as he was getting his belly drained, they brought him back at midnight so he could “be monitored.”

The doctor had no idea what had been done to his patient. He’d given him morphine, but he couldn’t give him any kind of sedative to make the patient sleep. He tried to keep the patient awake with something else like Tylenol. But he’d try to prop him up with anything he could find and give
