Based on the interactive world of the TV series The Expanse, Song in the Smoke Crack Mac is a VR-compatible first person survival game. In the wake of a solar superstorm, all satellites have crashed, obstructing navigation and communication. You and a small group of other survivors are left to survive this apocalyptic society. The Expanse is a New England-based group that has enjoyed success with their games. Their first The Expanse: Inner System Trilogy was a popular game on the Gear VR. They also produced a VR Extermination Mode for The Expanse: Outer System and have since moved on to the popular The Expanse: Song in the Smoke.
Song in the Smoke is an original game in the The Expanse universe, and took about 2 months to develop. The team is comprised of former members of The Expanse Interactive who were moved to Melbourne to work on the game.
Song in the Smoke is currently for PC (Steam). The game is currently available on PS4 and Gear VR. The game will be released on both Oculus and Steam for the Rift and Vive.

Song in the Smoke: Review
Lions roar. Sharks hiss. Bears rumble. Moans rumble. Torrents roar. In any environment, whether you’re out for a jog or trying to escape a cub, you need a strategy to make it out alive.
I’m no stranger to this kind of video game. I’ve been killing mythical monsters since I was a child, as have you. Whether you chose to play early games like Doom, DOOM 2, or Ikaruga, or later titles like Devil May Cry or Resident Evil 6, the adrenaline rush of slaying undead, demon, or evil boogiemen has never escaped my heart.
The world of Song in the Smoke:
But every now and again I stumble across an experience that makes me sit up and take notice. This is the type of game that elicits an out-of-body experience (or in this case in my virtual headset) with such force and depth that it stops my breath. Not many games have been able to do that, and Song in the Smoke: is no exception.
And I’m very glad it has.
I first experienced Song in the Smoke when it was announced. I did some research about the game to see what it was all about, and found a very detailed trailer that demonstrated a haunting experience in VR that would have been worthy of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movies. The game takes place in the new world of the Bighouse, an old abandoned coal mining town that was sealed to be decommissioned. But now, years after its closure, something is happening in the town, and it’s your job to stop it before it’s too late.
It doesn’t hurt that the Bighouse is a beautiful game world. The town may be old and abandoned, but it’s lovingly recreated, with hand-crafted props like old locomotives, a train station, and mines that date back to the industrial revolution. If you want a game set in a dark, Gothic world with plenty of wide-open space to roam, there are few places better than Song in the Smoke.

I love people who photograph architecture this way. I see architecture as a landscape — something that is unique and alive. Stephen Pomerantz has a lot of little poems in that post. I was about to caption the figs but I think they speak for themselves. Read on and enjoy — if you haven’t on Pomerantz’s post already.
How does one write about drawing? What is the essence of it? The thrill of finding a work of art that a kind of eye; that somehow tapped the mysteries of the everyday? The way the light in the design or the painterly quality of a photo given a photographic impression of light? The sheer pleasure of seeing patterns emerge out of simple things? Often poets, when describing something they love, seem to have to land on the word drawing. The repeated references to drawing are not meant to be seen as literal, since the word literature is used most often to describe the space between poet and reader. The space between two objects. The space of meaning. The poet and the reader in essence speak of the same thing: the space of perception.
But as the photographer and the poet are two distinct beings there is a distance between the two, one that is created by language. Imagine the experience of seeing something that was drawn in a way that unified all aspects of it, noticing elements in the drawing that filled the particular space in an almost tactile way yet creating the illusion of height and distance as one tried to move from one part of the image to another. There are some drawings that are simple in the way they ask for the photographer to fill up that space. Like Fig. 1.
In Fig. 1 you have the shape of a house with chimney and roof lines, and windows. That is all. You fill it in. Any object done this way, once drawn with enough conviction will fulfill the role of filling. The way the mind sees into the space created by our perception is imperfect and making many of the mistakes that we know we make. Fig. 2 is the perfect example.
