Download Plant Physiology Salisbury Ross Pdf.The invention is based on a hydraulic brake system and a method for controlling hydraulic brake systems.
Because of safety concerns it is common to provide a hydraulic brake system for commercial vehicle brake systems with a fail-safe system that makes redundant use of the system possible in the event of a fault. In this regard, see European Patent Document EP 0 292 244 A2 for example. However, this is not a fail-safe method, but rather a fail-safe measure; a fault in the system must be detected before the system can be used.
European Patent Document EP 0 844 059 A2 describes a hydraulic brake system for a vehicle, in which the brake pressure, which is generated in the brake pressure accumulators of a braking system, is reduced in an error-free mode in the event of a faulty actuating means. The brake pressure generated by the brake pressure accumulators is changed to a reduced pressure value by means of a hydraulic pressure modulator, and this reduced pressure value is supplied to the brakes.
It is accordingly an object of the invention to provide a hydraulic brake system and a method for controlling hydraulic brake systems that overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages of the heretofore-known devices and methods of this general type and that can be used in a fail-safe manner.
With the foregoing and other objects in view there is provided, in accordance with the invention, a hydraulic brake system. The hydraulic brake system contains:
a master cylinder;
at least one wheel brake;
a pressure buildup device for increasing a brake pressure in the wheel brake;
a pressure modulator;
a first hydraulic fluid connection;
a second hydraulic fluid connection;
the pressure modulator connected to the first hydraulic fluid connection.
In other words, a hydraulic brake system is provided, in which two fluid connections are provided. A pressure modulator is provided between the two fluid connections and in which the pressure modulator is
