Why does awk only search for a colon, then print the next 5 lines?
UPDATE: I wrote awk -F : ‘{ print $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 }’ to help with this, and that did work well.
UPDATE 2: After further fiddling, I noticed that when I have lines that end in a colon, they don’t get processed.

-F pattern
The -F pattern specifies a field separator, which is a string specifying one or more characters to recognize as a field separator when reading the input.
BSD awk searches for the first occurrence of this string in the input, but it does not search for the separator within the fields themselves.

I’m looking for a way to build a JAR that will work in all environments. Currently, we have an executable JAR with all the main classes we would like in it. However, we also have some extra classes that we want to utilize in that JAR.
Is there a way for me to package extra JARs in my JAR such that it is available when I execute it?

You can put your.java files in src/main/java and your.class files in src/main/resources. Make sure to include the dependent packages in the packages field of both.
