if you have all languages installed, double-click and select your language.

dont ask me why..but rldorigin.ini is located in: steam | apps/sims 4
if your shortcut is in a non-default location you can change it here. just drag the file where your game is located in steam and delete the.exe from the top of your destination folder.
ps. dont do this if you have lots of homes/content etc in your savegames, i had this problem and allways had to play from an old savegame. the problem here is that the way rldorigin is integrating with the game engine (steam) it does not allow for differences between files that would be anoying if you have hundreds/thousands of savegame content.
aha. another way to do this is to move the rldorigin.ini to the “users” folder, then make a backup copy of it, & then delete the file in the “c:\windows\program files\ea games\the sims 4” folder. if you start your game from the the subfolder ‘the sims 4’ this will ignore the files in this folder.
i think you can use any language you want? im reading from the thread where this problem was solved, and it says it works in german too. they just told you how to do this in english, which is like me saying i know how to walk in your shoes, because i can see you from the comfort of my laptop and if i look in the right direction, i can follow your steps too. since you speak german, you should be able to follow and see what i have to say too – or am i overkilling it, are you in germany?
