As stated earlier, the service manual is essentially a printed version of the instructions that comes in the box. In my experience, these printed manuals have always been better and more detailed than the normal paper instructions. While I can understand that the manual can get a bit dated now, it still contains all the necessary information, and if you are looking to update your iron, this is the quickest and the cheapest way of doing so. On the downside, if you wish to update the thermal performance of the iron, you will have to remove the manual from the box and inspect it before you can make any changes. Then you have to reinsert the manual before you can start to perform the modifications. This can be a bit frustrating and has lead to some not so good service experiences in the past, although I have had no such problems this time.
for those of you wondering what i mean by “gordak 952” i mean the “hori” monitor i own. and theres no other “hori” hp monitor for sale on the market. and there are no instructions on how to remove this type of tubes!
the replacement of the cfl is a simple task, but the order of the replacement can possibly cause problems. if youdo not have the replacement part for your monitor, you can probably find them at yourlocal store. or purchase them at your local electronics store that can provide them. youcan also make use of the hp disposal manual.
but i did not want to put my purchased cfl back on if it was not necessary. ialso did not want to use the hp disposal manual for this purpose. so, i quicklyreplaced all the small parts of the lcd with the parts from the old cfl, withoutworrying about the replacement order. then, the only thing left was to use a small screwdriver to put the cfl tube back on. once everything was put back together, i carefully looked at the monitor to verify it was working like it should.
press and hold down the power button until the heater turns on. the heater will turn on in 2-3 seconds. then release the power button. you can use the heater within the temperature range shown on the controller. the heater will automatically turn off when the heat rework station is turned off. the power rework station has a’sleep’ function so if it is placed in the stand, it will remain off when the heater is on. if you have any questions, you can check your manual or contact our customer service team.
it seems to have the same features as the a and they are more expensive. however i didnt want to buy a 65 dollar machine to do a quick solder. so i bought the 1600 at banmo plaza. i have to say it doesnt look like any of the pictures of the 952. it has a 4040 with a zif socket. there is a display, a power switch, a reset button and all the usual buttons. one difference is that the 952 has a 2n1 pin header and a 6n1 pin header. another difference is that the 952 has a test function. and one last thing is that the 952 wont turn on at all. the 4040 works fine. i suspect its the power supply. i dont know why i didnt think of this sooner. i noticed that the 952 wasnt listed on gspc site. the manual says that they are made in guangzhou. it also says that they are made from 2015. which is wrong. i got the machine on july 24th.
