here’s a trick that is working for me:
run the adobe after effects cs6 program as an administrator. it will work. i am using win 7 and pshop cc 2017. some of the features of this program are still not working for me. when i run the program as an administrator, the program seems to “load”. when i go back to the regular user, everything is still not working. in the task manager, the process is still running, but it seems to be “parked”.
i got adobe after effects cs6 on my computer. i had to modify the preferexternalmanifest.dll file to 0, so that is working great.
to prevent from crashing, i added the preferexternalmanifest.dll file to the boot sector of the computer.
after that i saw that the computer was running fine.

adobe after effects cs6 is a wonderful piece of software. however, i have encountered some issues with the user interface. i would like to use after effects without the annoying sidebar. i cannot seem to find any way to remove it. any suggestions?

i have a huge issue with the mac version of after effects 2017. the program wont start. it works perfectly if i have it set as default program for pdf. i have the program file in the first location that it says to put it (c:program filesadobeafter effects cc2017.app) and the preferexternalmanifest file in the second place (c:program files (x86)adobeafter effects cc2017.app)
after installing or updating adobe photoshop (cc 2017), you may get the error “the procedure entry point _call_crt could not be located in the dynamic link library c:program filesadobeadobe photoshop cc 2017opencv_core249.dll. as earlier said, the cause of the issue, in this case, is a broken opencv_core249.dll and can be fixed by reinstalling adobe photoshop. if you similar problems with other adobe applications you can perform a reinstallation using the creative cloud.
hi, i read almost all the articles but i couldnt solve the problem with acad 2010. without a manifest there is problem with resolution, with your manifest an error will raise: the program cant start because mfc90u.dll is missing from your computer.. after set path to a folder of the mfc files another error will raise: the application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b) would you please help me

i applied the fix to all applications and encountered challenges. first, the 64-bit version of photoshop located at c:program filesadobeadobe photoshop cs5.1 (64 bit) initially failed. however, after un-pinning all shortcuts and launching from the executable icon, i was able to successfully launch photoshop 64-bit with the desired effect. re-pinning of the executable now allows me to launch the application with the fix from my taskbar without issue.
hi dan, great stuff!!!! im using avs4you software from online media technologies, ltd., uk (www.avs4you.com) on my surface pro 4 and all the programs like avs video converter, avs audio converter, avs image converter etc. cant handle the screens high resolution. with your manifest files everything is working great now! so for everybody: not only adobe software will be working great after implementing the manifest files but also avs4you software!!!! thanks a lot from germay!
