in this ultimate item modifier mod, you can find a (halfway) solution to the problem that the item display is not sorted by the date of use anymore. with this mod you can do that easily. if you don’t have the sega collection (or any other collection, for that matter), you will not be able to use this mod. in-game, you will still see the inventory sorted by date of use, but in the game file, the game will still display the items by date of use. in the mod folder, you can change the sorting in the config.txt file:

For example, the scalpel and surgical saw are both considered locked items and can’t be modified. The only weapon that the game considers as locked is the Puzzle Box (Not the Mini Puzzle Box) and can’t be modified.
The player starts the game with a default uniform but after some time, the player can choose to equip a certain weapon or other items that are available for purchase in the store. During the game the player can get new weapons. For example you can buy new weapons that are marked with a purple marker. To find the purple markers you need to follow a special sequence. In order to view the unlock menu, the player needs to fight a certain foe. For example, first you need to kill a certain type of enemy that gives a purple marker. Then you go to a special room and complete a certain sequence of platforming. After you complete the sequence, a different purple marker will appear. This marker may be a different type of weapon or something else. You can equip the items and your inventory will be automatically changed and you can add the items to your inventory.
