i used to love windows 7 rtm even though i had to sit through the windows 8 ads. it was as good as the windows 8 ads said it would be. then i saw an article on what it really was: msft trading their potential market for money. you have to admit that’s a pretty good business plan, except if they’re gonna stop making windows 7 for like two years. i think it’s pretty sad that they can do that to their customers. they are ripping them off. even though microsoft is starting to make the transition to windows 8, windows 7 is still a solid os. i’m surprised it’s not doing worse.

this version stopped working in the last 7 days, just after october 22, 2014. it acts as though it was not installed. if someone else is logged into the windows 7 rtm 1 machine (64 bit) then it asks to kick them off before i can log in. it has always worked in the passed. i have had this happen on 3 different computers in the last week. i have tried to re-install the termsrv.dll file but it still has the same issue. i have done a binary file compare fc /b 64_termsrv.dll termsrv.dll to check both files and they are identical. i am not sure what is wrong now.
i have an issue with win 7 rdp. i have setup 2 machines:
one win 7 ultimate x64 7600.16385
and one win 7 home premium 64bit 7600.16385. i have installed rdp and enabled the ‘login as a different user’ on both machines. when i login to one of them it works fine and i can work on the remote system from the local system. however if i then logon to the other win 7 home premium 64bit system the remote session does not work. can someone help me on this please.
when i try to install windows 7 ultimate i get an error message that states, a problem has been detected. a problem has been detected on the system. application: microsoft windows. product: windows. it will be automatically restarted in 30 seconds. the restart will clear the problem. application: windows explorer. if this is a scheduled restart this message will not appear.
i have tried to install windows 7 ultimate x86 7600 rtm from a vhd file created using the iso in a virtual machine. i have copied the iso to a cd and restarted the vmware image. i have disabled secure boot and added the vhd file to the vm. i have selected the option, install from a virtual hard disk. the installer does not start. if i start the installer from the cd i have to reboot my pc which i have not done yet.
hello. i have searched the internet for the answer to my problem, but i can not find it. i have disabled the activation windows 7 ultimate and i can not install the program. i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and i did that using the upgrade option. when i click on the next button it says that it is not activatable. i have deleted the update and i have tryed to reinstall the program. i tried running the installer in safe mode, but it did not work. then i tried running the installer as administrator, but it did not work. i have checked the control panel and the only thing that was checked was activate windows, but it was not activated. i have a dell studio and i have a dell monitor that was configured by dell. when i install the program in a virtual machine, the monitor is not recognized. i have also tried to install in the same way using a cd and it gave me an error message that said the cd was not valid. please help.
