on the other side of the gate is a mist called the contemplative mists. these mists can be considered the opposite end of the power of the infinite dungeon. the mist is impenetrable to most spells except for a few very rare and powerful spells that may be able to pierce the mist. traversing the mists is easier and you can move out of the mist onto the ground. aasimar and druid of the mists may be found wandering the mists. it is possible to complete the game with only one of these classes.
