the output quality of mogrify is exceptional. it is more than adequate for my online activities and allows me to easily tweak the watermark at a later date. if i wanted to create a custom watermark or only apply it to certain clients, i could simply export the watermarked images from mogrify with the watermark preset applied and edit them as i wished. the image below shows what the watermark looks like when applied to an image (i am using white text) within the mogrify system.
