incredimail is a very interesting mail client, one which introduces a touch of light-heartedness to electronic correspondence thanks to its features for using various graphics and sound effects in e-mails. but feature-wise, incredimail is significantly inferior to more popular mail clients, making many users think of how to perform an incredimail export of e-mail messages for subsequent microsoft outlook import, and how to do so with a minimum of time and effort.
incredimail 2 has something that i call visual inbox. it looks like all of the standard e-mail clients, but its actually a series of small icons on the left side of the screen. these icons have only the most common actions such as delete, mark as spam, send reply, mark as unread, etc. however, when you touch an icon, a small box opens up and you can click on the icons for more options. this is extremely useful for those times when you are just looking through your e-mails for something. i typically use the visual inbox to scroll through the e-mails and when i find the one i am looking for, i just touch it to open it. this is really helpful for me as a writer who has to search through thousands of e-mails for the one that i am looking for.
incredimail 2 is a very nice mail client, but i would like to see some more features. one of my requests to the developers was to add a feature that would allow you to search through all the text of an e-mail. currently, you can only search for the subject, sender, and recipient of an e-mail, and even that is not very useful. for example, if you are searching for a particular phrase in an e-mail, you can only search for that phrase by using the subject or sender. however, if you are looking for an e-mail that contains a specific phrase you can only search by the recipient. this is very inconvenient, especially if you are looking for e-mail that are not easily identified by subject or sender. currently, you can only search by subject or sender.
