i am a computer science student and i am using proshow producer to produce videos to help my fellow students to study under quarantine. yesterday i tried to publish a video and all of a sudden saw the watermark.

today i found that registration on proshow producer was lost. an attempt to enter a registration key has failed. the last update i made on 01/14/2019. the official website of photodex has long been unavailable. can anyone comment on this situation
i don’t know the exact problem with photodex’s servers, but there is a reason why so many people reaching out to you, to get support to this problem. since students where i live are still in lockdown, i am using this program to make videos explaining some of the ideas i learn in university. it is my way to make my contribution to the community, and this situation prevents me from continuing with this.
i do not know the cause of the problem that you have experienced. at the moment, i can only suggest the following..
- if you have a serial key of the program, please login in the photodex website, and click in the “1 year” button.
- if you do not have a serial key, you can purchase the license and install it. once the license is installed, you will be able to access the program.
- photodex does not have any support solution for the program, since it is a voluntary service.
as a former employee of photodex proshow producer, i cannot help you. i, however, can let you know that it is not true that the registration for the software is no longer available. that is not true. if you have bought the program, you can use it. it’s you who is not using the program. the reason you have not been able to login is not because of you, it is the server. i did not make this decision, but i know i can help. the problem with the servers is that the system is working on a voluntary basis. all the content (the videos, presentations, et al) is uploaded by individuals, and the servers do not have the capacity to manage this. if you need the software, you should contact the owner of the site to see if they can help.
