wp-comments-notifier is a useful application that was designed in order to alert you when new comments are posted on your WordPress blog (works well with WordPress MU too). It displays an icon in your system tray to let you know if you have new comments.
wp-comments-notifier includes features that allow you to manage / reply / edit your comments directly from your desktop. It is a lightweight application that uses a tiny footprint and takes only 2.0MB of RAM!

After doing a bit of searching and testing around I’ve come up with a couple of good looking WordPress skins. They work great and also make the blog look ‘clean’.

The only one that I haven’t tested is Make It, but my guess is that it’s still a beta and is probably a bit buggy.

I’d love to hear any feedback you might have. As always, if you come up with any ideas of your own that might be useful or good, please post links to them on the community wiki.

This program notifies you when new comments are posted on your WordPress blog. It’s part of the WordPress comment notification package.

How to Install:

You will need to download and install the latest version of WPSiteMGR.
You can find the latest version here:

If you have a clean install you may need to remove the current version of WP-Comment-Notifier before installing this version of WPSiteMGR.

Delete the files you find in this directory:

[c:\\wwwroot\\wpsitemgr]

If you find the same files in the new directory, rename the files:

[c:\\wwwroot\\wpsitemgr_new]

1. Run the.exe to remove the old version of WPSiteMGR.

2. Run the.exe to install the new version of WPSiteMGR.

3. Run the.exe to install the WordPress Comment Notification (wp-comments-notifier)
