Something that I’ve been wanting is a tool that is able to ping a specific website, and also reports back on the status of the website.
Instead of updating the app, or searching for a new one, I decided to try and re-invent the wheel, and wrote one of my own. Not only that, but I made a simple GUI and put it up on the Google Play store for free for all to use.
Posting IPs and checking for updates and/or errors is great and all, but I think what we really need is a tool that will check the status of a website and then, if it is down, ping the website until it comes back up. I’ve done a lot of research on the idea, and here is what I’ve come up with so far.
