For example, what could we use the Blur Toon Brush Tool for without choosing the Quality option, which changes the tool altogether? I do understand the reasons why. It is the “Photoshop way” to give the user the ability to control the “difficult” settings. Again, this is not really the case. In Photoshop, you still need to double click on the icon to get into the options, if you really want to. Since Adobe has realized that people never actually want to work with the quality options, they might want to give them a prompt to at least slightly educate users of the program. Work that much harder with layer masks? Never. Once again, it goes back to the logic that Adobe was forced to come up with. The Spot Removal tool really impressed me. It is the easiest and most effective tool I have seen in my four years of working with Lightroom. I’ve been using Photoshop for many years. I have seen many many methods people used to “heal” a tired eye. The latest version of PS allows nearly everyone to achieve near perfect results. It’s the biggest jump I’ve ever seen in Photoshop software in literally years. The Apple Pencil is the most important innovation I have seen in the past decade. It is not just for entertainment. It makes the user feel a greater sense of control and power with the tool. The interface is also much improved. The entire interface has been rethought in a way that now makes it much more user friendly.
