To save a new image, click the Save button on the main Edit tab, and click the button labeled Image on the Image menu. To save an existing file, you can either choose File⇒Save or File⇒Save As from the Image menu.

When the dialog box opens, click the Edit Color icon, shown in the margin, and then select the Save for Web/Web Site option. This enables you to save the image in a format that best suits using it on a web site or other online use.

When you select the W/WS option, you see two thumbnail views of your image on the left side of the window and a preview on the right. The left side displays your file as a JPEG image if it is one of the file formats listed, or it lists the current filename and the resolution (megapixels) if the file is a PNG, EPS, or PSD file.
