I was wondering if anyone has any experience at various altitudes with their WD TV Live or WD TV Media Player. I currently have a set at 1000 feet with excellent signal. I was looking for some ideas on how to get better reception at various altitudes and thought I’d get some input.

I have the Media player at an altitude of 9700 feet with good reception. But I cannot get reception to work when I live at an altitude of 6750 feet. For some reason the media player goes to the default “station” listing instead of the home one.

I would be interested in the same. While I do have the media player in the basement, about 500ft up, it currently has no fan or remote control to control it. I hope that I can get it hooked up to the same home network as the other WD devices that I have in the basement.

How far from the TV do you live (assuming you have a RF receiver) and where exactly is it located? Do you still have the antenna on the pole? If so, is it pointed directly at the TV? You may need to bring the antenna higher on the pole as well. Finally, do you have the antenna in a window or do you have it in
