There were no significant differences in age or height among the three groups. In all the meniscal tears of the lateral menisci, the mean scores were different between MRI and US. The mean scores were statistically higher in the stable tears than in the healthy menisci, and statistically lower in the unstable tears than in the healthy menisci, in both MRI and US.
