XEYYEX is a game studio founded in 2015. We are made of two fantastic professionals, working in the videogames industry for more than 15 years.
Our goal is to create an experimental 2D game with an arcade vibe and a great look for all fans. So we have been working hard to make an evocative game.
Our first game is “XEYYEX” (XEYYEX is a French word meaning Rubber Band).
-After several weeks of work, we are now ready to share it with you.
This is our first big project. So we expect some things will not be perfect. But we hope that after all those hours of work, the current game is far away from being a bad game.

Cattails is a puzzle platformer game by indie developer Spookydog Studios.

“The platforming genre is often a frustratingly simple affair. You can either imagine yourself as a large, sensitive organism or a calculating, headstrong one, but you always have the option to jump.”

What to expect:

The game is made up of a single-player story mode and a multiplayer co-op mode.

Despite the co-op mode being a separate game, players will be able to connect with other players online through matchmaking.

There is no co-op mode in this game, but players can also find other players to play with through local and online matchmaking.

In the story mode, players will need to use the various items and power-ups along the way to unravel a tangled plot and to stop some vengeful creatures.

Two-player co-op is available in the game through online matchmaking. This is a competitive mode where players can choose which team they are on and go head-to-head against other players.

Cattails is a 2D side-scrolling platformer game, where players must make their way through each level while jumping from platform to platform, towards the end of each level where they are required to halt some set of enemies.

In Cattails, players can use various power-ups along the way to help them out in their quest. The game also features a wacky sense of humor and a small cast of quirky characters who always seem to think that what they’re doing is really cool.

This game has been in development for 6 months, with a playable demo of the game having been released in March 2018.

This demo has not been the final version of the game, but it was a good representation of what players can expect from the game once they buy it.

In the demo, players got to explore the first 3 levels, with the fourth and final level not yet available at the time of the demo.

The game originally started development at the end of 2016, and quickly moved onto Steam Greenlight, where it was greenlit and subsequently added to Steam.

The full version of the game was released in February 2018.

You tap on a TRIANGLE. There’s a Whoa Moment. You’ve Got to Touch a TRIANGLE. Then, you can spin that TRIANGLE with your fingers. Hit it with the right angle at the right time, and it will wobble and dance. Some TRIANGLES are happy, some are angrier. Some are more difficult to spin than others. (and they all have their own TRIANGLE-heavens)
There are also points for Colors. (The top of the triangle is always White) If you touch a colored TRIANGLE, it will glow. And, if you touch two the same color, a RED FLOWER will grow between the two TRIANGLES. Pretty Cool Coloring =D
But, wait, there’s more! The best part of this game is that you can tap and interact with TRIANGLES at ANY TIME and WITHOUT PRESSURE (how did I know that). It just might be the best feeling in existence. And, there’s a HOPE – that if you keep on playing, and giving TRIANGLES a go, you will CATCH TRIANGLE POWERS (do I just need a better development team?) – but you might never know if you will or not.
But, if you do ever find a TRIANGLE POWER – or even if you don’t – then you can tap your way to a SCORE BEHIND THE CURRENT LEVEL (but first, you got to clear the current level with a TRIANGLE).
This is simply an exceptionally intricate and well designed easy to control Doodle-Game about TRIANGLES!
NOTE: You will notice that you cannot scroll to the next level without first tapping the same type of TRIANGLE. You would think that it would be a free-scrolling world, but NOPE! The beauty of having an infinite number of TRIANGLES is that we can tap them whenever we want.
Here’s a crazy-crazy-crazy real-world example:
Imagine if you were to tap a pencil on a piece of paper. It would bounce off the paper. It would bounce off the piece of paper. When it bounces off the next piece of paper, and that TRIANGLE is on the third piece of paper, all the pieces of paper are left behind. And, we are left on the 3rd piece of paper. Not looking forward to the tapping!

Blaston is a village in the Solihull borough of Warwickshire, United Kingdom. Solihull council and Warwickshire County Council have offices in the village.

History

Blaston has two ancient parishes: Blaston with Ryton and Blaston without Ryton. These two parishes are first recorded in 1086.

On the banks of the River Yeatman (formerly called the Long Brook) lay Tatsall in Blaston. On the south bank was the Great Bridge in Warwickshire. The Great Bridge was rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries. There was also the old Watermill in the centre of the village.

Blaston has been described as “one of the best preserved set of villages in Warwickshire”. Many old timber framed buildings remain within the village and former mill buildings are still located in the village. The oldest of these is the farmhouse built in the early 18th century on top of an earlier 17th-century manor house.

Education

The old village school of Blaston was established in 1876, thanks to the efforts of Joseph Copthall, and is sometimes referred to as Copthall School.

Transport

The village has several bus stops to the west of the village centre and the village bus also stops here. The village lies on the A4114, which forms part of the strategic east-west road that runs between Chelmsley Wood and Bilbrook.

The nearest railway station is Kempsey Junction which is on the Birmingham to Worcester West Midlands Mainline.

Attractions

The village is surrounded by Alderseal Natural and Scenic Area, of which is open to the public and is designated as a National Nature Reserve.
The field near to the East Barn reservoir is a forestry of just over 29 square miles and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

The wall on East Barn Lane by the side of the Watermans Lane Reservoir has been moved to the nearby football pitch and lawn where it has become a climbing wall.

Cultural events

On many weekdays at lunchtime, and on Sunday afternoons there is a slow-cooked food market.
