Behind the scenes
Lightstep Chronicles is a “Level editor”. This feature is never available in the complete versions of this game, as they would take too much time for a completion.
So I use that time to program a lot more features, this way we can continue developping the games in the future, even after we sell them!
Also, the guy who works on the community, also helps in the game the music here, technical support and goes on extra if I am not there and answer to bug on the forums. This makes big difference, I have no experience in programming. His help in executing new features is huge!
I made a lot of units here, I think it is impossible to hide this mistake. But I don’t think I care, I have bigger plans.
Other features like the map editor, the private server or the several modes, like king of the hill mode, 3-on-3 tourny or free roam are unfinished.
In the last 2 years I also came back to programming from my days of making programming videos, where I use to program just to code game by myself, to make money out of some small social networks. Programming and development has became my favourite thing now, less focus on my first passion, which is filming and education,.

This game was extremely complex and hard to develop.
Unfortunately due to hard times over the past years I am no longer able to continue with this game,
which I started 3 years ago.
This is a sequel to the best selling game on that is called Canvas II.
Most of the development was done through a combination of scripting, assets, sound and music.
The game features five chapters with many quests and a huge upgrade system.
You can create your own custom levels by placing your lightstep wall in different places.
This is done by placing a gameobject and setting a destination value that you want it to reach.
This puts the gameobject at the right coordinates in the level world.
This will be explained in more detail in the instruction manual.
Here you have to find a way to get to the destination and stop the flower from
going back to the sun.
It’s a first person game with a very classical puzzle gameplay, which was inspired by the
Zelda series.

Sam had just come outside and was chatting with Whiskers when Brady handed him his phone. Sam turned on his light and picked up the notepad where he’d been making his wish list of things to do when he and Whiskers had been alone. He saw that he’d written, “first wolf bedroll.”
“Hmm. First wolf bedroll,” he wrote, but then he caught himself and amended it to “first baby.”
Brady bent to scratch Whiskers under the chin, then took the bag that held his costume and a can of soda from the glove compartment, where he’d put them out to cool from the car’s ride. He picked up the copy of “The Viking Faire, a celebration of ancient history, modern mythical tales and the everyday.” It carried a pull-out poster, which showed a bearded Viking man in the company of a deer.
