i’m not sure if the two methods are the same. i’m saying that the non rds services method, is a way to use the windows 7 rds licenses on a windows 7 or 8.1 server. no session manager, no pool access, you are only using the windows 7 licenses on a server. it has nothing to do with the feature of pooling them.
i’m sorry for the confusion i didn’t point out to them that what i was saying wasn’t the same as the normal licensed pooling, i wanted to make sure i wasn’t missing out any details. i did point out that they need an rds cal in either case and that the non rds services method had nothing to do with pooling at all. i did not understand how they were using the normal licensing pooling method. the only non-rds pooling i know of is the raspberry pi pooling. as i said i’m not sure if i’m missing something or they misunderstood.
