okay so yesterday on my iphone 3g sg-2, i jailbreached it. when i woke up i had my iphone 4 or so on my home screen. the icons were there and everything for me to install when i had jailbroken it. but i ran out of battery at 4 in the afternoon in front of my friend and it got really slow. now i plug the phone in and open up itunes, it goes to iphone 3g g 3.1.3 settings. so then i restore. after i restore my phone back to iphone 3g sg 2 the re the icons of all the stuff is back, and the apps also. but my apps are not updated. how can i get my apps to be updated? help please
i am running cydia on my jailbroken ios 4.0.1 4g ipod touch. i did all of the steps from cydia, downloaded everything, restored it back to the iphone, but i cannot get the apps to show up on my home screen or on the home screen folder. please help! i really need the apps on my iphone, please respond as soon as you can!
i did the steps for restore after i jailbreaked my iphone (4.0.1), but it didn’t get it to the iphone 4.1 settings. when i went in to itunes to restore it to it, it did something weird..and i couldnt go back to the 3.1.3 settings to restore it. when i open it up to the iphone 4.
without ability to access wifi, i found out about cyder 2. i was installing ultrasn0w without the other packages and it was causing my phone to enter the never-ending apple reboot loop after the restart.
so now that i’ve followed your instructions, the phone is not going into reboot, but it does say no service and the network is not working, either despite the little wifi logo showing full strength. just to clarify i am using an activated sim card from a local carrier.
any ideas as to what i should do
hi, i’ve been running cydia for ages on my phone, but now it no longer shows the restricted apps on app store when i try to download apps from it! for example, i want to download backblaze but the app doesn’t show on cydia in app store in either restyled or titanium modes. how do i get it back?
okay i have a friend on gtalk (the video chat app that comes with itunes) who is telling me to install cydia, is this safe to do on my ipod without a lot of apps for it? i dont use it that much. or do i have to delete all my stuff before i install cydia? im a little worried about that
i’ve been having a lot of problems getting any use out of my samsung galaxy s3, so i thought i would install cydia and try to un-brick it. the problem is that the recovery menu says its locked when i try to get into it, despite my not having to have a lock screen on my phone. i have a friend that has a galaxy s3 and has never had any problems with cydia installing onto it, so it seems as if i have found my problem. the phone came with android 2.2, i have now upgraded to 2.3.4 and cydia keeps telling me i have to upgrade the firmware and cannot go on the home page and find it. i have tried to find a way to lock the screen for cydia, but cant find an option for that and my phone is now showing as android not working, but in my folder, there are apps there, so i can’t see why it won’t connect, just seems to be some sort of problem with cydia trying to upgrade my firmware
ok well it runs and installed what it needed, but whenever i get to a webpage it just freezes up. i have tried a reboot and it does the same. i have tried setting up a vpn on my itunes and it does the same when i open up a website. i have tried manually loading a dylib for electra and it does the same. i have also tried to manually load a.dylib and it runs just fine. no idea whats going on and why it won’t load a webpage
