Autobiography Of A Yogi In Kannada Pdf Free 13

before he can realize his actual relation to his fellow men, the student must first recognize himself; yet for some unknown reason, the majority of people never dare to meditate on their true identity. it is only in contemplation of the one universal soul that one can formulate reality of his individualized existence and realize his true value. for man cannot find him on a world of subject and object, friend and enemy. the man of god is active, active, active, being superior to the play of senses. he can understand neither earth nor heaven, but he sees between the two. the senses of earth are the ordinary, natural, though usually hidden from sight, world of ignorance, while the senses of heaven are the subtle world of transcendent enlightenment. they have no limits, and only their absence can reveal the outwardly hidden and unknown.

if the yogi can merge his gross body with a higher medium, can he not, with such sanctified life and untiring energy, aid in the reconstruction of the race, which slowly and surely falls into disintegration? such a man is the greatest benefactor the world has ever known. as one who is always conscious of the ideal in every form, the yogi can eventually realize the permanent ideal he has sought in his ordinary worldly activity. so the average yogi in the sense of his here-and-now behavior cannot expect to attain cosmic, “-beyond-life” consciousness in this existence. he must pray for his purification and elevation, and co-operate in restoring pure consciousness to the cosmos.

a life of total renunciation and self-control is de-emphasis of every natural desire, or as our great mentor says: “self-surrender to pure consciousness” and “release self.” the desire to free the ego from its selfish action can only be accomplished by conciliation with the beloved, feeling and acting according to the laws of all-encompassing love. the power of the master of wisdom lies in the fact that, having united with him, he sees everything clearly, for the soul is the mind, and the light of pure consciousness or the beloved is the same as the soul itself.
