When service personnel perform maintenance activities, they must follow the current maintenance manual. In the event of a Class 2 failure, you can be sure the ACMMs add the appropriate instructions for how to proceed. Please refer to the appropriate ACMMs for changes in this area.
1. The maintenance activity (the specific procedure); 2. Date of the maintenance activity (if not manually performed); 3. Identify the responsible maintenance personnel; 4. Any special training requirements for the personnel; 5. Identify the equipment (i.e., manuals or instruments used); 6. Signatures of service personnel performing the maintenance activity and any special training requirements for them; 7. The location of the maintenance activity (e.g., service center, aircraft station, aircraft garage, etc.); and 8. The number of service hours performed by the service personnel, and their date of service (based on the frequency of the maintenance activity).
PL-25 Revision 10 and PL-19 Revision 10 update OEM Replacements and Changes (ORCs). The revised ORCs are now published on line as a part of the maintenance manual. PL-18 Revision 7 and PL-15 Revision 5 provide the definition of the Environmental Conditioning (EC) Information Category. Appendix F provides a listing of the environmental conditions by category and description. The Capacity Connector Descriptions have been updated to include capacity connectors that interface with the Environmental Conditioning Information Category.
Through the process of retrofitting the process, the operator will look forward to working with Airbus Helicopters and HeliOne on integration of the Maintenance Management solution that Airbus Helicopters is developing. The thought of applying these innovative concepts to existing helicopters represents a major shift in the industry and for change the operator will be working closely with Airbus Helicopters, HeliOne and other major helicopter OEMs to leverage and drive implementation.
