New Fidic Red Book Pdf –

4. the daab will be appointed by mutual consent at the beginning of the contract. the decision maker (dm) will be named in the contract data, in the event of the death or retirement of the dm, the next person in the daab’s order of succession shall be the new dm. when the daab is unable to make a decision, the dm shall call for a conciliation effort, which may only be successful with the agreement of the parties. when conciliation fails, the dm shall give an indication of the position and the time limit within which the dispute will be resolved by the daab, and shall thereafter be deemed to have agreed to an extension. parties may take any of their own remedies in respect of a failure to resolve the dispute within the specified time period, or any failure to comply with any direction of the daab.

the contractor has a wide range of rights and obligations which are altered from the old yellow book and this is reflected in the contract term, performance period, cost elements, key money, tenures and default provisions (see appendix 3: contract terms and conditions).

the various clauses have been rewritten and the overall tenor of the clauses have been changed. for example, it is proposed that subsisting clauses should be retained wherever practicable so that contracting parties can rely on them rather than having to get familiar with a new set of clauses. however, the high incidence of subcontracting in the construction industry might well lead to a degree of contractual reengineering to force subcontractors to adopt similar provisions to those proposed in the new contracts. it is not clear how the new clauses will work in practice , and whether the new clauses will be appropriate for the current development of fidic-based contracts and their interpretation. there is, therefore, a real danger of “contract shopping” for the most favourable terms in view of the fact that the new contracts are likely to be introduced, or at least considered, as of 1 january 2018. we should await the results of a performance, or impact, study from the mod to see how these clauses will work in practice, and whether they have addressed the shortcomings of the old contracts.

I want to create a table/grid with 10 lines and each line has a date and different information such as: company, invoice number, work order number, etc…
At the moment I’ve created a Table and added the column names. Then I wanted to show each line with a different color.
So far here’s what I have in mind:
Example Image of my spreadsheet
It would be perfect if this could be achieved with conditional formatting but this is a big challenge for me. Can anyone help me?

A:

Here is an outline of how to do it with conditional formatting. You should get results like in the screenshot below.

Add a Conditional formatting button to your spreadsheet. (The button is in the Format tab.)
Select Format, Conditional formatting from the dropdown menu.
Type a color in the Format – Conditional Formatting dialog box.
Select a row, column, or area of cells with date and non-date information.
Click inside Format – Conditional Formatting, and click the Conditional Formatting button.
Click the Format button at the bottom of the dialog box.
Click the Type button.

Pick the necessary type.
Format – Conditional Formatting might just be good enough. If not, you can add more conditional formatting rules.

If you want more information on all the conditional formatting rules, you can click Show formatting rules. This opens a dialog box with all of the settings you can have for conditional formatting.

Here is an example of the type of information you could have in your conditional formatting, with each formatting rule having its own color:

Q:

How to set $num = 0 in an if-statement?

This is what I did:
$num = 0;

if ( $fileid > $local->fileid ) {
$num = 10;
} else {
$num = 5;
}

But it doesn’t work. Any way to do it properly?
Thanks

A:

If I understand correctly, you want:
$num = ($fileid > $local->fileid)? 10 : 5;

Note that PHP’s type comparison is done using the type casting operators (prefixing an int with (int)) rather than comparison of the numerical values; Therefore, this is equivalent to the following:
$num = ((int) $file
