The official beta is now available for download on PS4 (downloaded the latest update) and Xbox One. PC beta is on the way soon too. Both will be identical in terms and will only work if you have a beta key ring. So, good news! If you get any updates on the beta, let us know. I know all you fans will be excited to play this game and we can’t wait for you to do it.
I’m sure many of you are going through the website and wondering what you can do in the beta session. You get to shoot a load of enemy vehicles, space bongos, super-force, race a winged cop, and stuff. It’s a lot the same as the original, except there’s more stuff, and the controls have been tweaked. There’s a little bit of a spell for those who imagine flying through the air and a more pronounced one for those who are thrilled by the power of a shot from a machine gun mounted on a motorbike. For those of us who don’t fall into either of those categories, the controls are still pretty simple. I’ve heard this from a lot of reviews, though. You can also check out the videos on the game on EA’s website. You can’t jump into the other game at the moment to play, but this is essentially a pre-alpha version of Star Wars: Battlefront.
The trailer below is a little bit more interesting than the Gameplay sections, but read the description if you’ve seen them. You can also check the videos out on the game’s website. Star Wars is not perfect, but it looks like everyone is having fun with it (and that’s about it).
New content seems to be updated on a weekly basis, but I haven’t had a chance to try out all of it yet, so I’m excited to see what they have added that I haven’t. I do have a quick list of the new features I’ve noticed:
