Interesting Dragon Ball Super Facts

Here are interesting facts taken from https://saiyanyourself.com/ if you want to buy things related to.

In the last decade, it’s been the best time to be a Dragon Ball fan. We’re given two new movies, an anime and a manga, as well as a bunch of creative video games that deviate from the Raditz to Buu formula. In addition, the fact that Akira Toriyama is already actively working with Super, adds another condition that Dragon Ball GT doesn’t have. We live in an age where new episodes of Dragon Ball Super Heroes come out every week, and that’s amazing.

Perhaps the best aspect about Dragon Ball Super is how mysterious it is. This is a new and ongoing series of Dragon Ball Z where we don’t know what will happen next. It is unpredictable, full of incidents and behind the scenes facts that add new context to the series.

Each episode has the potential to give us new information about DB Super that we didn’t know before, and some of them are downright surprising, for example the new Super Saiyan form. The Dragon Ball series available today is more mysterious than the previous series, and that’s all thanks to DB Super, of course. And here are some Dragon Ball Super facts that you definitely don’t know, let’s see!

Toriyama Rewrote Almost All of Battle of Gods

Battle of Gods marked the start of the renaissance the DB series is currently experiencing. Without Beerus and Super Saiyan God, a few years. the latter would be sorely lacking in Dragon Ball content. Even so, Battle of Gods as we know it does not remain a ‘god’ for the classic Dragon Ball which gives this series a second wind. At first, it was more like the typical Dragon Ball Z movies, then Toriyama stepped in.

After reading the original Battle of Gods script, Toriyama hated it so much that he made the decision to completely rewrite it and guide Dragon Ball into the 21st century. Son Goku’s transformation as a Super Saiyan God was revamped to the sleek and simple red design we now know, Beerus has been modified from outspoken villain to antagonist with no real malicious intent, not only has Pilaf and his friends been added.

Inspired by Monkey King

This one fact is probably already known by most fans. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball also admitted that he had the idea to make this series based on Journey to the West. Therefore the Saiyan race has a physique like a monkey, because Goku himself was made based on the Monkey King character from Journey to the West.

There are several other characters who are also inspired by Journey to the West, such as Bulma, Oolong, and Krillin. But over time, elements of Journey to the West slowly faded away.

This Film Has A Time Skip

This film will feature a time skip, as Akira Toriyama said that this film will be an original story not a remake or adaptation of a new arc that is being written for the manga. Apparently this film will take over the setting after Granolah Saga comes from the manga.

Resurrection F’s Inspiration Came From A Song

Following the success of Battle of Gods, Toei proposed that Toriyama write a Dragon Ball sequel film to pursue the Super Saiyan God. With no real design, Toriyama looked elsewhere for ideas. Yes, Ressurection F, at least the concept is taken from the song Maximum the Hormone F. The F comes from the next song which pays tribute to Freeza, his army, and the many atrocities they committed.

Upon hearing the song, Toriyama knew that Freeza’s popularity as a villain was perfect for a successful sequel. Regardless of what you think of the final film, it’s safe to say Toriyama took over ideas from fans for the entire story. Plus, the song was even used when Freeza actually came back to life!
