The Photoshop workspace

Photoshop uses a workspace, which is a top-level _document_ in which you create your project. All your layers, frames, and other elements go inside this document.

1. **Open the current file in Photoshop**.

This file will be the starting point of your project, so make it look nice and ready. You can use any image for a base layer, but the better quality the better.

2. **In the Layers palette (Window→Layers), click on the little padlock icon**.

Photoshop locks or _sets the state_ of the current layer. A locked layer appears with a padlock icon (l) in its lower-right corner. Click the padlock to unlock. Once the layer is unlocked, you can make changes to it.

3. **In the Layers palette, click the little padlock icon to lock the first layer of the image (image 1), which is your background**.

An empty layer appears. You can lock the layer by clicking the padlock icon.

Your image contains a background layer, which will appear behind every new layer you create. If you decide to add a new layer to the image, it will sit behind the background layer.

4. **From the Layers palette, click the icon with the white arrow next to the layer thumbnail

Cropping and resizing

This workflow enables you to create neat, easy-to-read images that display well on social media websites and in email. This workflow does not use the Photoshop layers, and thus requires no knowledge of layers.

You can resize, rotate, and crop images by drawing the guides on the image, and then using the crop tool. You can also add graphics like arrows, smiley faces, and straight lines to help separate images from one another.

The following steps will teach you how to do all these things.

Step 1. Open the image you want to edit

Step 2. Draw the crop and resize guides on the image to the desired proportions. This might take a while, depending on the size and resolution of your photo.

Step 3. Click the crop tool and resize the image using the handles.

Step 4.

[Evaluation of screening for neuropsychiatric disorders by medical students].
Health care in the field of psychiatry is part of the medical curriculum in Germany since 1997. According to a study carried out at the universities of Hamburg and Würzburg the assessment of the capability of medical students to identify mental disorders was investigated. Existing screening tests were carried out with 319 medical students. In a structured interview scale the students had to assess the clinical pictures of 11 disorders. In the group of schizophrenia and depression the students recognized mental disorders with the highest rates. In contrast, the students were not able to recognize mental disorders in the group of addiction disorders. The diagnostic situation of a medical student who has to diagnose and treat patients needs to be increased. Therefore, the medical curriculum must not only address diagnostics, but also psychosocial behavior and professional competences.Richard Bolmer

Richard Bolmer (July 5, 1754 – September 1, 1819) was a merchant, legislator, and a veteran of the American Revolutionary War. A native of England, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States at the age of 21.

Early life and War of Independence
Born in the town of Pinxton in Nottinghamshire, Bolmer emigrated to America in 1779. He married Maria Heman in 1781, and they had ten children.

Bolmer fought in the American Revolutionary War, and became a naturalized American citizen at the age of 21. He served in the 35th Regiment of Foot, a British infantry regiment, in 1777, and, under the command of his brother, Charles, he was a captain in the American army in 1777, as evidenced by the 1779 New York Merchant’s Register.

Bolmer joined the War of 1812, enlisting in the Navy. He was stationed in the Chesapeake Bay area, where he received a gunshot wound in his knee in 1813.

After the Revolutionary War, Bolmer settled in New York, where he became a prominent merchant, owning and running the well-known “Bolmer, Haywood and Company”. He opened a shop, “Bolmer, Haywood and Company, wholesale and retail of dry goods, groceries, &c”, in a “well-built, substantial, brick building” located at the corner of Chambers and Nassau Streets.

As a merchant, Bolmer became influential in local politics. He served as the New York County Register of W

Including a copy of a remote repository as a submodule

I’m having trouble finding an answer to the following question.
I’m working on a new web application project with a front-end library written in Angular2, and I’m looking into using Polymer for the back-end.
I want to:

base my website on the Polymer front-end library
bring my data to Polymer via Firebase Cloud Firestore

The data stored in Firebase is already publich, so I don’t want to lock-it down for local use, but I do want to move it to the Polymer project.
So, I have three repo’s I’m looking at, polymer-test, polymer-development and firebase-example.
I want to be able to include polymer-test as a submodule into my Polymer-development repo. So, I think I want to do something like this (instructions provided in the README file):
git submodule add git:// polymer-test

Where polymer-test is a copy of the polymer-test repo, and that copy is what I want to be inside of the polymer-development repo.
However, that code doesn’t seem to do anything. I even tried the cloned/fake clone in the polymer-test repo that was suggested here: Clone a subdirectory of a Git repository in Git, and still nothing happened.
Is there a way to do this in a way that works?

In general, submodules are not a great fit for dependencies that change frequently and are designed to be consumed by one repository. It also isn’t suitable for cases where you want to control the canonical location of the dependencies.
I’d recommend looking at package managers such as npm. Using npm, you’d add dependencies to your package.json file and then run npm install to actually install them. These dependencies are installed in your package.json file and can then be required in your other project. This keeps the npm versions in your application very stable, and keeps your application independent of the master version.
Using firebase you can get the files of the dependencies via npm run build. This will be the compiled version of the software, and it’s always going to be available.
You can look through the contents of the application with npm ls, but it’s not really a good
