Finding a photo in Elements and moving it around
Before you can edit a photo, you need to find it in the Photoshop Elements editor.
Open a photo and click the Open button. The search box opens and the text “Select from Files” appears. Click the Search button. In the File Chooser window that opens, you’ll see the files in the disk you’re working on. If the file isn’t on your disk, click the Folder button (it looks like a plus sign) on the File Chooser window. In the dialog box that opens, navigate to the folder where your photos are, and then click the Select button.
If the photo you want isn’t on your disk, just move the pointer over the photo you want to select and click the Open button.
Now the photo is open in the Photo Layers window. Your next step is to move the photo to a new position in the photo.

Multi-hit mode (or single image mode) of data acquisition can be used to minimize the effects of scattered radiation if proper collimation is used. However, the image is read out in a single readout. And the system is able to provide high count rate capability only when either the data acquisition speed or the image exposure is reduced. In a single image mode, the radiation dose is again reduced at a point where the image quality is not compromised.
This paper presents an overview of various aspects of a single image mode acquisition system for digital radiography (DR). This is a system with the minimum number of images and lesser number of X-ray tubes. The system employs a binary thresholding technique, which can produce images comparable with those obtained by a CR. The image quality of the DR system can be further improved by utilizing the fact that the average X-ray energy has a finite distribution. The results of a Monte Carlo calculation to analyze the energy distribution of the DR system are presented. It is seen that there is an appreciable improvement in the energy spectrum of the digital image, if a gamma correction is applied to the system. These findings can enable the design of a DR system with lower radiation dose and no loss in image quality.
Single image mode, with a 64×64 µm2 pixel size, was investigated for a limited number of systems. Both the digital and photographic images were compared. The DR system could produce images comparable with those obtained with the same exposure times in a CR system. Single image mode reduces the radiation dose at a point where the image quality is not degraded. These findings provide the radiographer with a tool to produce high quality images in DR.
Multihit mode is an efficient way of handling large data sets in DR. Since a large number of exposures are made at once, the radiation dose can be reduced at a point where the image quality is not affected. The advantage of this system is its feasibility in a short data collection time. It can easily be incorporated with the existing x-ray facility with minor modifications to the DR system.
Single image mode also has its advantages, which are highlighted by the introduction of a Monte Carlo simulation. The theoretical image and its associated image noise are compared with those of the actual images. The results are presented in a graphical and tabulated form. It is seen that the results are comparable to that of the actual images

Well, technically we’re still at the park, but we’re going to head home today.
It’s been an amazing, interesting, fun-filled week.
We had such a great time hanging out with lots of different people and making new friends, and seeing new places in the town.
I didn’t really notice it before (guess I’m getting old), but it really does feel like we’ve been driving in and out of the same town for three days now, after a couple of days in the park.
The bottom line is, we’re going to be home a little later than we originally thought, and I think it’ll be nice to just sit down and relax and hang out for a few days.
It’s been really great to get to know each other and hang out in a place with great food and fun, be it the pizza place, or the sushi, or the grassy area near the fountains.
