This appeal is from a summary judgment entered against appellant in his suit for loss of consortium. We reverse.
The undisputed facts reveal that appellant and his wife were in a jury trial when the jury returned a verdict. A week later the jury awarded the husband $35,000, plus interest and costs, and awarded the wife $10,000, plus interest and costs. The husband’s counsel then requested that the verdict be “entered into the record.” The verdict was sent to the court for entry and then to counsel for approval as to form before being included in the permanent record. The husband’s counsel and the wife’s counsel then left the courthouse.
