Now, we’ve introduced a new format – Standard/Weapon Hybrid.In the new Hybrid Resource System, you will choose the balance point of the game in the following way:
The Standard Resource System includes Basic and Luxury resources.
Each resource has a corresponding value on the upper right side.
When you upgrade a skill card from 0 to 1 or a basic card from 0 to 1, the card has 5% of the corresponding resource value.
The Weapon Resource System includes Basic and Weapon Cards.
Each Card has 0% value from the corresponding resource.

      Today’s post will be about a small quirk in language, that has appeared in recent years in the midwestern US. It’s a quirk which, in the telling, leads one to conclude that the speaker has merely verbal diarrhea. I have a hard time sharing the severe and perhaps unfair judgement the quirk is making on its victims.

      During the last month an acquaintance of mine said to me, “I don’t understand why women are so mean to each other.” Honestly, the first thing I thought of was that my acquaintance is flawed.

      With that in mind I was about to comment something along the lines of “Well, if you haven’t noticed, women aren’t that civil to each other.”

      But I didn’t. I kept quiet. What I thought was “this is a very serious point” manifested itself not as meaningful content, but as an out, off-topic remark. I just let it sit there.

      I then sent a note to my acquaintance to thank him for the unforced insight.

      When I got the email back with my note I read it several times and the quirk was still not made clear to me. The quirk, which I had noticed first today, was this: In the “de-emphasis” of two full questions and instead of being immediately accented, the question was greeted with a small,.02 second pause. I placed a period after the word “don’t” which is the same word used in the infinitive (“don’t be mean”) to indicate “don’t…don’t be.” Despite this,.02 second pause the words were pronounced as their constituent parts, but instead of unaccented, the emphasis was on the imperative forms.

      Because the sentence was, “I don’t understand why women are so mean to each other” I then realized that the quirk only occurs when one is apologizing. By seeing this I almost had a conversation with my acquaintance about how the quirk is a linguistic mistake, but I didn’t want to add to the possible misinterpretations of this pattern by any confused people by raising the point.

      It occurred to me that the underlying condition for this “small, but important” quirk is that for some reason when someone has gotten in a scrape and is apologizing they switch to the 2nd person form of the sentence.

      A problem that continued to perplex me was whether this quirk was more like one
